YOUR MEAL PLAN FOR HEALTHY WEIGHT LOSS

When you are trying to lose weight, you want to take in less energy (through food and drink) than your body uses up (in metabolism and activity). You also need to eat a variety of different foods from all the different food groups to make sure that you get all the vitamins and minerals your body needs to work properly.

This meal plan will help you to eat a balanced, healthy diet, while still losing weight. If you eat according to this plan you will get about 6000kj (1500 calories) of energy per day. If you are very tall, very active or very overweight, you may need to add in another snack or two when you first start this meal plan, so that you don’t get too hungry.

You should try to stick to the plan as closely as possible and make sure you don’t skip meals. Have breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and dessert.

A SIMPLE OUTLINE OF THE PLAN

1. Start your day with one cup of

(15-30min prior to your breakfast)

2. Breakfast: choose one serve of the breads or cereals listed
+ one serve of the dairy or alternatives listed
+ one serve of the fruit or spreads listed
3. Morning tea, afternoon tea and dessert: choose one serve of the snacks or drinks listed

4. Lunch and dinner: choose one serve of the breads or cereals listed
+ one serve of the protein choices listed
+ one serve of the condiments listed
+ as much of the free vegetables as you would like

Monitoring Your Progress

Weigh yourself just before you start taking the Coffee Shape Green Coffee program, preferably in the morning after first going to the bathroom. Most importantly, weigh yourself the same time every day. Also use a tape measure to measure your bust, waist, hips, thighs and arm areas.

For the first week, when you first start drinking Coffee Shape Green Coffee, weigh yourself once on the first day, and then track your weight loss from there every few days by scale and tape measure. After the first week, track your weight at the same time every day, so that you measure the results. Hydrate Yourself!
